This year's Bicycle Bash , promoting biking for health and alternative transportation, moves to Contanchobee Park, adjacent to the Tampa Bay History Center. Participants can bike the Riverwalk after enjoying music, food, a swap meet and vendor booths. It runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday 11/4/12 at 801 Old Water St., Tampa.

The Local 662 rocks the vote with Rock the Election , a free show by local rock bands for those who show up with an 'I voted' sticker. The Stone Eagles, the Rosewoods and Sons of Hippies start up at 6 p.m. Tuesday 11/6/12. There will be a live projector screen of election coverage and you can see your tweet with #2012VOTE on the screen. $3 without a sticker at 662 Central Ave., St. Petersburg.

Next Thursday, Nov. 8, Emmy-winning filmmaker Rory Kennedy , the daughter of Robert F. Kennedy, comes to the Tampa Theatre for a free screening of her new movie Ethel, about her mother and the Kennedy dynasty. The HBO documentary is the first film made about the Kennedys from within the family and the first time Ethel Kennedy has given an extended interview in more than 20 years. The screening is at 6:30 p.m. and will also feature a talk with Rory Kennedy afterward. Although the event is free, seating is limited.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. at the theater, 711 Franklin St., Tampa.
